My friends, this is by far the most delicious and wonderful sandwich experience you can have in the area, perhaps even the country. Every time I come here, I am greeted by friendly faces who live, sleep, and breathe sandwich. It is their lifeblood. Getting a cold sub? Expect it done is less than a minute because they have John Sandwich himself working here who can whip that thing up lickety-split.
Do not even get me started on the food. Oh my word, it is life changing. This place will ruin most sandwich stores for you, nothing else can compare. The Reuben in particular is heavenly and delicious. I remember coming here for a while towards the beginning of my semester, and they eventually learned my name within like 3-4 visits. I felt at home there, I trusted them, I felt seen and heard. My heart filled with joy, even when I simply drove past the store. What a wonderful, wonderful place. I plan on bringing the love of my life here.
Great food & service. Staff is SUPER nice and accommodating. I have a strange issue though. It seems that something taste's different in the sandwich I order (Fighter Pilot). Been eating it for years and now it taste's like there is garlic or some extra spice in the meat or something. It's weird. I don't like the taste but it's not necessarily bad, just bad for me. Can't give this place any less than 5 stars though.
I stopped in here on 10/18/23 and ordered a roast beef sub. While sitting down to eat I noticed that there was only 3 thin slices of roast beef on this sandwich. I went in and asked about it and they said that is all that they put on the sandwich. This was an 8$ sandwich with 3 thin slices! I went here to meet my wife for lunch but will never go here again. Jimmy John's is close by and easily has 2-3 times the meat for a comparable price.
Worth the drive across town if you're not close by. The softest fresh bread, homemade cookies, and such a yummy sub.
The staff was so welcoming and friendly! Don't be afraid to go for the large sized sub, it's worth it.
They have a restroom inside and two picnic tables outside so you can eat and enjoy the fresh air.
This used to be a great place for a sub sandwich.
I ordered what I always ordered and came up with a sandwich I won’t eat. Didn’t know it till I got to my car.
Husband went back in to get what I have ordered in the past and got yelled at and told to never come back. They don’t have that anymore.
There are better ways to treat your customers!
Love it here. I usually come two-three times a week. Everyone I tell about raves about their food. Friendliest team in town with top notch sandwiches and service. Literally my favorite place to eat in Springfield.
My brother kept telling me how good this sub shop was and he was totally right, I was really surprised how good and wholesome the food is and you definitely get your money's worth, I will definitely return again 😁
